We are looking for an Application Support Engineer to join our team. The role involves application monitoring, troubleshooting production issues, and ensuring system stability for web/ mobile applications.
Job Details:
- Work Mode: Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days work from home)
- Work Location: Kuala Lumpur Sentral, Malaysia
- Employment Type: 12-Month Contract (Further Extendable based on performance and project availability)
- Estimate Salary Range: RM 3,700 + RM 300 (Fixed Shift Allowance)
- Work Schedule:
- Off Days: (Monday & Tuesday) OR (Thursday & Friday)
- Weekday Shift: 3:00 PM 12:00 AM
- Weekend Shifts (Rotational): 1st Shift: 9:00 AM 6:00 PM; 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM 12:00 AM
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot application and production issues
- Monitor system performance and application health
- Analyze server logs and database records
- Handle incident management and issue resolution
- Work with development teams to resolve technical issues
- Support application deployments and system updates
- Maintain documentation and update knowledge base
Requirements
- 1+ year experience in Application Support / Production Support / L2 Support
- Knowledge of SQL and database concepts
- Familiar with Linux / Unix environment
- Experience analyzing application logs
- Understanding of web and backend applications
- Monitoring tools experience (Datadog, Zabbix, etc.) is a plus
- Good problem-solving and communication skills
