Job Description And Role Responsibilities
- Develop and execute regional category strategies to optimize value and mitigate risk.
- Geographical coverage is AP South - Singapore, Australia, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam with six major categories - real estate, marketing, IT, professional services, HR and Finance.
- Lead end-to-end sourcing activities including RFx, contract negotiation, and supplier selection.
- Manage supplier panels, conduct business reviews, and drive sustainability and compliance.
- Partner with Finance, Legal, and business leaders to ensure smooth procurement operations.
- Approve purchase requests and oversee contract lifecycle management.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings through supplier innovation and market insights.
Qualifications
Hard Skills:
- Strong command of strategic sourcing, RFx, contract management, and supplier governance.
- Analytical skills with ability to interpret data and support decisions.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; experience with SAP/Ariba is a plus.
Soft Skills:
- Proven experience in multinational companies and matrix environments.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Excellent negotiation and interpersonal abilities.
- Logical thinking and problem-solving mindset.
- High integrity and compliance-focused.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Preferred:
- 8+ years of indirect procurement experience, with regional exposure in APAC.
- Experience in the listed categories.
- Overseas study or living experience is a plus.
