As an AR Analyst (Japanese Speaker), you will oversee the full Accounts Receivable process, including invoicing, payment application, collections, and dispute resolution for intercompany transactions. Description
- Ensure timely processing and accurate matching of customer payments against invoices.
- Post and reconcile customer claims, identify root causes (e.g., pricing, quantity, delivery issues), and document resolutions.
- Perform proactive dunning activities and follow up on overdue invoices to secure prompt payment.
- Issue and deliver customer invoices with accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
- Record and resolve customer claims at the first level; process credit memos for justified claims and coordinate with the Commercial Business Unit for disputed claims.
- Monitor customer credit limits, perform solvency checks, and release orders in line with internal credit policies.
- Handle invoice processing and outgoing payments related to trade terms management (TTM).
- Process AP/AR reclassifications and month-end AR credit balance adjustments for trade settlement (TS).
- Prepare accurate AR aging reports and maintain proper documentation for audit readiness and compliance.
Profile
A Successful AR Analyst (Japanese Speaker) Should Have
- Proficiency in Japanese (min JLPT N2) and English, both written and spoken.
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in AR, preferably in SSC set up. Fresh grad are welcomed to apply
- Strong understanding of intercompany transactions and financial processes.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial data.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and tools.
