Position: Arabic Interpreter (100% Work from Home)
Language: Arabic- English- Arabic
Location: Work From Home (Based in Malaysia)
Foreigners must relocate to Malaysia
Job Scope: Consecutive interpretation- Live conversation Doctor & Patient, Banker and client etc...
Working Hours: 100% night shift that changes monthly. Entry points can be any hour from 7pm, 8pm, 9pm, 10pm, 11pm, 12am, 1am, 2am, 3am etc. (8 hours online per shift, 40 hours online per week MINIMUM)
Monthly basic salary RM5100
Monthly internet allowance RM62.30
Monthly housing allowance RM600 (for expatriate only)
Qualifications
- Excellent listening, retention and note taking skills to maintain a high level of accuracy
- Ability to concentrate, stay detached from the conversation, and always remain neutral and objective
- Ability to quickly establish personal credibility
- Ability to follow client's instructions closely
- Ability to explain certain cultural concepts to avoid miscommunication with the permission or at request of the clientB2
- CEFR English Level bilingual with Arabic language
- Able to work from home on a permanent basis
Responsibilities
- Provide language interpretation from one language to another for individual with language barrier to understand and communicate to each other
- Handling telephone or video calls on demand and renders meaning of conversations in the consecutive mode of interpretation between speakers of English
- Processes information quickly and concisely, recognizes sensitive cultural differences, and is always professional and courteous
- The interpreter will use appropriate industry terminology and understand common industry procedures and practices. The calls may involve simple or complex, non-technical or technical subjects in Healthcare, Government, Insurance, Finance, Utilities, Travel and Hospitality, 911 emergency services, Law Enforcement, Courts, and General Business.
