Key Responsibilities:
1. Technical Drafting & Design Excellence
- Precision Modeling: Prepare detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings and models that serve as the foundation for our architectural projects.
- End-to-End Documentation: Produce comprehensive submission, working, and construction drawings.
- Technical Accuracy: Handle all detailing and calculations, ensuring every line meets specific technical requirements.
- Visual Impact: Utilize 3D modeling and rendering software to bring projects to life for client visualizations.
2. Collaboration & Project Support
- From Concept to Execution: Partner with architects and engineers to develop designs from the initial spark to final site execution.
- Problem Solving: Actively collaborate with the wider design and construction team to troubleshoot and resolve technical site issues.
- Deadline Driven: Support project management by ensuring all drawings are accurate, updated, and delivered on schedule.
3. Compliance & Documentation
- Regulatory Mastery: Ensure all designs strictly comply with Malaysian building codes (UBBL), regulations, and industry standards.
- Authority Submissions: Prepare and manage documentation for local authority submissions (e.g., PBT, Majlis).
- System Organization: Maintain a high-standard database of drawings, specifications, and project materials.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years as an Architectural Draftsperson within building construction or engineering. Proven experience with local authority submission work is essential.
- Education: Diploma or higher in Architecture, Building Design, or a related field.
- Software Mastery: High proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp. If you are familiar with rendering software (e.g., Lumion, V-Ray) or BIM, that's a significant plus!
- Technical Knowledge: A strong grasp of construction methods and Malaysian draughting standards. An interest in Interior Design is an advantage.
- Soft Skills: You should have a sharp eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a collaborative, supportive personality.
