About the Role:
Our client is looking for a young, dynamic, and passionate F&B professional to take on the role of Area Manager, overseeing 4 outlets within Klang Valley. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading teams, driving operational excellence, and working in a fast-paced, growing F&B brand.
As the business is currently in a growth and expansion phase, the successful candidate will play an important role in supporting the opening and operational setup of future outlets. Key ResponsibilitiesOperations ManagementOversee the daily operations of all assigned outlets to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Ensure strict adherence to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)and brand standards across all locations.
Conduct regular operational audits and outlet inspections to maintain service quality, hygiene, and safety standards.
Monitor key operational metrics including sales performance, wastage control, labour cost, and operational efficiency.
Ensure consistent customer service standards and positive dining experience across all outlets.
Oversee manpower planning including recruitment, scheduling, and workforce allocation across outlets.
Monitor labour cost, overtime (OT), and productivity to ensure optimal manpower utilization.
Develop and implement staff training programs to improve service quality, product knowledge, and operational standards.
Oversee inventory management, stock control, and ordering processes across outlets.
Ensure accurate stock forecasting to minimize stock shortages and overstock situations.
Monitor wastage levels and cost control to maintain healthy gross margins.
Coordinate with suppliers and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of ingredients and operational supplies.
Monitor outlet sales performance, profitability, and cost control.
Implement strategies to improve revenue growth, operational efficiency, and cost management.
Ensure strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, and regulatory requirements.
Conduct periodic quality checks and compliance audits across outlets.
Provide regular operational updates, performance reports, and improvement plans.
Work closely with management to support future outlet openings and operational expansion.
Minimum 5 Years of experience in F&B operations.
Experience overseeing operations, manpower planning, SOP compliance, inventory management, and cost control across multiple outlets.
Mandarin proficiency is required as the role will communicate regularly with the China-based Franchise Owner and stakeholders.
Willingness to support operations in terms of extra hours, weekend & Public Holidays (with proper compensation).
Halal certification knowledge or experience is an added advantage.
Must possess a valid Food Handler Certificate in accordance with Malaysian food safety regulations.
Must be Typhoid vaccinated as required for food handlers in Malaysia.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
A hands-on, energetic, and passionate individual with strong interest in the F&B industry.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple outlets simultaneously.
