Area Manager - Retail

Working hour : Monday until Friday (9am to 6pm).

Salary package : Basic salary + travel allowance or travel claims

Preferred : Chinese speaking candidate. Any gender

For this role, they mostly will be travelling between outlets. Taking care of 3 outlets in Johor.

Position: Area Manager

Reports To: Operation Manager

Location: Johor

Salary Range: RM 8,000 - RM 10,000

Preferred Industry Background:

Candidates with experience in fast fashion retail environments such as Uniqlo, Muji, H&M, or Valiram are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Store Managers to drive sales performance, maintain brand standards, and deliver strong in-store customer experiences.
• Ensure consistency in store operations, customer service, and visual merchandising in alignment with HOOGA's brand identity.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Training, Warehouse, etc.) to execute retail strategies and campaigns effectively.
• Monitor and analyze store performance metrics, identify trends, and provide actionable, data-driven recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with HR on talent development, succession planning, and retention strategies to build a strong retail team.
• Oversee manpower planning, staffing structures, and scheduling to ensure optimal store operations and productivity.
• Conduct regular store visits, performance reviews, and coaching sessions to ensure accountability and continuous improvement.
• Identify potential operational risks and implement preventive measures to protect brand reputation and business performance.
• Foster a culture focused on customer experience excellence, teamwork, and continuous development across all stores.
