Are you passionate about driving commercial performance and building luxury brands across international markets We are seeking an Area Sales Manager to lead the commercial success of AMOUAGE across Malaysia, partnering closely with distributors to deliver business growth, elevate brand visibility, and ensure excellence across sales, trade marketing, merchandising, and operations.
Your Purpose
Reporting to the Regional Sales Director (APAC), the Area Sales Manager is responsible for managing distributor performance, driving the achievement of commercial objectives, and executing brand strategies across the market. The role analyses sales performance, develops action plans to maximise growth, coordinates trade marketing activations and education initiatives, ensures merchandising excellence and brand standards, and oversees order management and operational execution to deliver a seamless customer and partner experience.
Your Impact
BRAND MANAGEMENT
- Work hand in hand with distributor teams to market and activate key initiatives across top markets.
- Ensure commercial objectives and KPIs are clearly set for the distributors and monitored monthly.
- Conduct thorough analysis to track key distributors performance (sell in | sell out | A&P).
- Track and analyse sell-out performances MTD and YTD per shop and SKUs and set action plan and corrective measures to achieve objectives.
TRADE MARKETING
- Lock trade marketing activations with DSR across countries .
- Ensure brand visibility during key launches and key consumption periods.
- Coordinate with Experience and Education teams to organize corporate events and masterclasses.
- Set up education plan per country in coordination with Education team.
MERCHANDISING & CAPEX
- Ensure brand image within the shops.
- Ensure implementation of planograms in all doors according to brand's guidelines.
- Manage assortment and stock availability on shelf.
- Follow up on Trade animation implementation (permit and drawing approval).
- Follow up with visuals update in all doors.
- Find relevant and strategic CAPEX opportunities with DSR Partners.
ORDERS
- Follow up on distributors orders.
- Coordinate with logistics team to ensure on time delivery.
- Follow up on order payments with respect to payment terms.
