Position Summary
We are looking for Junior AI Engineers to join our growing team in Malaysia. The ideal candidate should have basic hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, strong interest in AI / ML, and a willingness to learn the insurance domain. You will work closely with senior engineers to develop, test, and deploy cloud-based solutions that support key business initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing, building, and deploying cloud-based features under guidance from senior team members.
- Use AWS services to develop scalable, secure, and reliable applications.
- Support insurance-related solution development, including data processing, model integration, and workflow automation.
- Participate in application testing, debugging, and performance improvement activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features on time.
- Maintain good coding practices, documentation, and version control standards.
Qualifications
- 0–2 years of experience in AI, cloud engineering, data, or software development.
- Basic understanding of AWS services (Lambda, S3, EC2, API Gateway, etc.).
- Exposure to AI/ML concepts, data pipelines, or model operations (academic or project-based is acceptable).
- Interest in learning the insurance industry—its processes, workflows, and data structures.
- Strong problem-solving ability with a willingness to learn and grow.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
