Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for an Artificial Intelligence Engineer with minimum 1 - 2 years of working experience located in WP. Kuala Lumpur. The AI Engineer with strong expertise in Artificial Intelligence to design, develop, and innovate AI-driven solutions. The role involves creating practical applications that address real-world challenges, leveraging AI technologies to deliver impactful and tailored outcomes. Daily tasks include collaborating with cross-functional teams, conducting research, and implementing AI solutions to meet business needs. The engineer will also contribute to software development projects, enhancing existing products and services.

Eligibility

• Malaysian citizen or Permanent Resident (no working visa required).
• Minimum 1 - 2 years of working experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Understand the problem statement and follow a methodological approach to solve it.
• Rapidly prototype using existing code and enhance it to create proof-of-concepts (PoCs).
• Explore, test, and implement the latest AI models quickly to address specific tasks and challenges.
• Engage effectively with clients, fostering strong and lasting relationships.
• Work within agile project management frameworks to ensure efficient delivery.
• Stay curious, adaptable, and eager to learn, while collaborating closely with the team.
• Embrace teamwork and contribute proactively, valuing collective success over individual efforts.

Requirements

Hands on experience or knowledge of:

• Python
• Object-oriented Programming (OOP)
• Huggingface (Transformers, LLMs, VLMs)
• Pytorch / Tensorflow
• Postman and REST API
• Docker
• Git
• Cloud services (GCP/ AWS/ Azure)
• Bash Scripting

Language

• Mainly English.
• Chinese or Malay are optional.
