We are looking for a detail-oriented and creative individual to join our team in managing packaging artwork and colour accuracy. This role offers an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates in design-related fields to gain exposure to real-world packaging development while working closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
You will play an important role in ensuring that all packaging artwork and colour specifications meet customer requirements and company quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Artwork & Colour Management
- Verify and ensure colour accuracy by comparing with Pantone guides, Customer Technical Codes (CTC), customer-approved samples, and QA master samples.
- Maintain and manage Customer Technical Codes (CTC) documentation and ensure proper distribution to suppliers and relevant QA plants.
- Organize and maintain a systematic filing and tracking system for all artwork and CTC references.
- Review and validate colour tolerance charts submitted by suppliers for new, revised, or expired CTCs.
- Carefully review packaging artwork by comparing customer-provided files with supplier drafts to identify discrepancies or errors.
2. Cross-Functional Coordination
- Serve as a key liaison between customers, marketing teams, suppliers, and internal departments for artwork-related matters.
- Communicate artwork requirements, coordinate revisions, and provide progress updates to stakeholders.
- Work closely with the Quality Assurance (QA) team on plant-related matters and the Regulatory Affairs (RA) team to implement required artwork updates based on regulatory reviews.
- Coordinate with suppliers on artwork development and colour matching to ensure compliance with specifications.
3. Packaging Artwork Development & Specification
- Analyze packaging specifications including dimensions, material types, and artwork layout for new or revised packaging projects.
- Implement artwork updates based on Regulatory Affairs (RA) review feedback.
- Coordinate the process of sending revised artwork to customers for acknowledgment and feedback.
- Manage the approval workflow, including finalizing the Packaging Artwork Form (PAF) and submitting final artwork files for regulatory review.
- Conduct fitting tests for new packaging dimensions or customer requests to ensure artwork alignment with physical packaging.
4. Documentation & Administrative Support
- Prepare and share packaging orientation documentation when requested by the Marketing team.
- Ensure all artwork revisions and documentation are properly recorded, traceable, and maintained.
- Support other tasks or projects assigned by management when required.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia, Art & Design, or related fields.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
