AS 400 Developer

Description

We are seeking an experienced AS400 Developer to join our dynamic team in Southeast Asia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AS400 development, with a focus on creating and maintaining applications that meet our business needs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain AS400 applications
• Write and optimize RPG and COBOL code
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance
• Participate in code reviews and maintain documentation standards
• Assist in the migration of legacy systems to modern platforms
• Provide technical support and mentorship to junior developers

Skills and Qualifications

• 4-10 years of experience in AS400 development
• Strong proficiency in RPG, COBOL, and CL programming languages
• Experience with DB2 database management and SQL
• Familiarity with AS400 operating system and tools
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
