Job Title: AS400 Cobol Developer

Job Description:
- Design, develop, and configure AS400 COBOL software modules, interfaces, and components
- Work collaboratively in a team environment to deliver quality software within defined timelines
- Explore and implement new business solutions to enhance system functionality and meet user needs
- Follow established standards and methodologies for application design and development
- Continuously upgrade technical skills to stay aligned with the latest software development trends
- Act as a self-starter and proactively raise issues when necessary
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science / information technology
- 5–8 years of experience in AS400 COBOL development
- Experience in the banking domain, especially in payments
- Strong working knowledge of AS400, COBOL, SQL, and DB2 database
- Familiarity with tools such as JIRA and ALDON
- Experience across the full software development lifecycle and maintaining AS400 applications
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact across diverse teams and stakeholders
- Proven experience working closely with clients and delivering required services
