Job Description

Required Skills & Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in AS400 / IBM i development.
  • Strong hands-on experience with:
  • RPG / RPGLE / RPG IV
  • CL / CLLE Programming
  • SQLRPGLE
  • DB2 for i / DB2-400
  • DDS (Data Description Specifications)
  • Experience with AS400 development tools such as:
  • RDi (Rational Developer for i)
  • SEU
  • SDA
  • IBM Access Client Solutions (ACS)
  • Strong knowledge of application maintenance, enhancement, and production support.
  • Experience with debugging, performance tuning, and problem resolution.
  • Good understanding of banking, insurance, manufacturing, or enterprise applications is preferred.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with COBOL/400, Synon/CA 2E, TurnOver, Aldon.
  • Knowledge of APIs, web services, XML/JSON integration.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
