Job Summary
We are looking for a COBOL 400 Developer with 5-10 years of experience to design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications. The role involves working with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, high-performance software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance applications using COBOL 400.
- Maintain and support existing systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle.
- Conduct code reviews and maintain technical documentation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver new features.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in COBOL 400 (mandatory).
- Good knowledge of software development best practices.
- Experience with SQL and database management.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of Java, C#, or other programming languages.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies, DevOps, andc tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
- 5-10 years of relevant software development experience.
- Strong communication skills and proven delivery track record
