Description
We are seeking an experienced AS400 developer with a focus on Life ASIA applications to join our team in Malaysia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AS400 technologies and a deep understanding of the life insurance sector.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain AS400 applications within the Life ASIA domain.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Perform system testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure application integrity.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing AS400 applications.
- Document system processes and maintain accurate records of application changes.
Skills and Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience in AS400 application development and support.
- Strong knowledge of RPG programming language.
- Experience with DB2 databases and SQL.
- Understanding of Life Insurance business processes and regulations in the SEA region.
- Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
