ASEAN Regional Headquarters - E-Commerce Department Executive

Organization Overview

The company does not function merely as a local subsidiary but serves as the regional headquarters overseeing both ASEAN and India operations.

By 2026, the EC organization is planning to expand to a structure covering 7 countries with a team of 9 members. From the Malaysia office, the company is driving EC strategy, operational standardization, and system implementation across ASEAN and India.

This position is considered a core member role within the ASEAN-wide EC strategy team. The successful candidate is expected to join initially as a staff member, with future expectations to grow into an Assistant Manager role.

This is not simply an operational role. The position will also be involved in:

1. Strategic planning
2. Business plan development
3. KPI design and management
4. System implementation projects
5. Organizational development

Job Responsibilities

1. ASEAN Regional EC Management Functions

1. Support organizational planning and annual business planning
2. Budget management and numerical analysis
3. KPI development and improvement initiatives based on business plans
4. Standardization and improvement of EC operations across ASEAN countries

2. Large-Scale Project Management

1. Business-side project management for membership, points, and mobile app system implementation
2. Coordination and requirement gathering with each country
3. Collaboration with system teams and the Japan headquarters

3. Organizational Management

1. Support management of EC department team members
2. Improve customer service quality and implement fan/customer engagement initiatives
3. Support organizational structure development in line with business expansion

MUST TO HAVE:

Experience in project management or project coordination

Hands-on experience in managing and operating Shopify
