Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and commercially driven REL Category Manager to lead category strategy and execution across the GTAP region. This role will partner closely with Sales, Product Management, Supply Chain, and Global/Regional teams to drive profitable growth, optimize product mix, and ensure operational excellence.
The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of product management, sales acumen, pricing strategy, and supply planning, with a proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and deliver business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Category Management
- Drive GTAP REL business performance and own delivery of MT PL targets
- Identify growth opportunities through market insights and heatmap analysis
- Represent market performance in business reviews (BMS) and align with AP HQ WW teams
- Lead execution of key business programs (e.g., Project Arrow, Premium NB, AMD initiatives, transition strategies)
- Product Portfolio Management
- Define and optimize product mix and adjacency strategy to maximize revenue and profitability
- Collaborate with WW and AP teams to ensure portfolio readiness aligned with market needs and competition
- Own product planning frameworks including PxQ targets, tracking, and performance monitoring
- Drive product enablement and promotions to support sales teams
- Manage End-of-Life (EOL) transitions and stakeholder communication
- Pricing Strategy Profitability
- Define and execute pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness and margin optimization
- Integrate cost structures, market intelligence, and system controls for effective pricing governance
- Analyze AUR, cost trends, and profitability levers to drive financial performance
- Demand Planning Supply Management
- Oversee demand forecasting, supply planning, and inventory management across markets
- Manage planning against Left to Sell (LTS) and Available to Sell (ATS) metrics
- Own inventory processes including REL inventory and parts inventory reporting
- Drive actions to minimize Excess Obsolete (EO) inventory risks
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Achievement and over-delivery of GTAP REL PL targets
- Improved operational and supply chain efficiency
- Accuracy in forecasting, planning, and reporting
- Effective risk mitigation and inventory optimization
Qualifications Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years of overall experience, including:
- Minimum 5+ years in Product/Category Management
- Experience in sales or commercial roles
- Strong understanding of the PC commercial market in GTAP
- Experience across Enterprise, Public Sector, or Education segments is preferred
