Key Responsibilities
- Product Strategy and Roadmap
- Conduct in - depth market research, competitor analysis, and customer feedback collection to identify market opportunities and define product vision and strategy for the Asia market
- Develop and maintain a product roadmap that aligns with business goals, prioritizing features and enhancements based on user needs, market trends, competition landscape and technical feasibility.
- Together with the APAC product marketing head, lead our product portfolio planning and offerings for the new factory in Malaysia.
- Product Development
- Work closely with cross - functional teams including engineering, engineering, manufacturing, and especially sales/application throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Define detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria, ensuring clear communication of product functionality to development teams.
- Manage product development timelines, resources, and risks, ensuring on - time and high - quality product delivery.
- Facilitate agile development processes, conducting regular sprint reviews and retrospectives to continuously improve product development efficiency.
- Product Launch and Marketing
- Collaborate with the global /regional marketing team and sales team to develop product launch plans, including positioning, messaging, and go - to - market strategies.
- Provide product training and support to sales teams to enable them to effectively sell the product.
- Monitor product performance post - launch, gathering user feedback and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) such as pipelines, sales and profitability.
- Use data - driven insights to drive product improvements, enhancements, and new feature development.
- Product Lifecycle Management
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to end - of - life, making decisions on product enhancements, feature deprecations, and product retirements.
Collaborate with finance and operations teams to manage product pricing, cost - effectiveness, and profitability

Requirements
Education
Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering, or Engineering degree with the appropriate level of experience and engineering coursework; MBA is a plus.
Experience
- At least 10 years of relevant work experience, preferably in HVAC or industrial equipment markets
- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing products throughout their lifecycle.
Skills
- Strong product management skills, including product strategy development, requirements gathering, and product roadmap creation.
- Strong business acumen with experience in analyzing financial and sales data, extracting relevant information, and providing recommendations to improve results
- Good skilled in product management with experience in pricing/cost analysis, value proposition development, payback analysis, and product positioning
- Strong project management experience with proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Skilled in market research and communicating market needs and trends to influence business strategies and new product development
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
