Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of technicians and operators to achieve production output, yield, quality, and shipment goals.
  • Take care of the general assembly program.
  • Coordinate assembly-related engineering documents.
  • Perform new line and product setup qualifications.
  • Support environmental procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Take charge of related assembly process areas.
  • Support process-related material changes.
  • Manage process performance improvement, monitoring, and sustaining.
  • Execute yield, quality, and cost improvement activities based on internal and customer-related issues during the new product start-up.
  • Plan and drive improvement projects (yield, quality, cycle time, productivity, etc.).
  • Perform qualification and setup of new machines and materials.
  • Perform failure analysis and troubleshooting of the process and yield-related issues, which include corrective and preventive action measures.
  • Enforce compliance with the general discipline, housekeeping, and safety rules and regulations.
  • Coach and provide technical assistance to supervisors, technicians, and operators during daily production running and troubleshooting.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in any Engineering field or equivalent.
  • 2 to 3 years of working experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment will be an added advantage.
  • Experience in vacuum soldering process, machine operation and supervisory activities will also be an added advantage.
