Job Description:
Reporting into the Senior Commercial Manager/Project Director, this role provides project commercial support and financial control as detailed below:
- Close out all the Professional Service Agreement and DMAs.
- Support the Senior Commercial Manager to manage monthly, quarterly and annual financial performance and reporting.
- Contribute to the preparation of project budget plans
- Track and monitor costs against forecasts, including preparation of relevant reports.
- Collaborate and manage communication with relevant stakeholders to maintain a relevant, up-to-date financial model. Stakeholders to include:
- Work stream leaders of each asset class
- Cost planners
- Finance team
- Legal counsels / Company Secretary
- Financial Planning & Analysis team
- Provide support in the consolidation and analysis of financial data to for cost budgeting
- Support management in identifying risks and opportunities from the Commercial Assessment and communicate critical issues to management for resolution.
- Review in Financial position as well as reasoning for variation submitted
Skills required:
- 7-8 years of experience in financial planning and analysis in real estate/construction company.
- Strong organizational and time management skills .
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills .
- Proficiency in project management software and construction practices .
- Knowledge of construction regulations and safety standards .
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team .
- Experience in the construction industry
Salary up to RM 11,000.00
