Relocation support is provided. Key role in driving financial performance, leading a high-performing finance team, and supporting the strategic growth of a well-established hospitality operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Finance Director in overseeing the hotel's finance and accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports, balance sheet reconciliations, and owner reporting, ensuring all reports are completed accurately and on time.
- Analyse financial performance, including revenue, payroll, operating expenses, budgets, and forecasts, and recommend corrective actions to achieve business objectives.
- Oversee daily accounting functions, including revenue and cost reporting, accounts payable, bank reconciliations, balance sheet monitoring, and month-end/year-end closing.
- Coordinate internal and external audits, maintain proper financial documentation, and ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and hotel policies.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget, business plan, financial forecasts, and other management reports to support strategic decision-making.
- Lead, coach, and develop the Finance team through performance management, training, mentoring, and effective delegation to ensure operational excellence.
- Collaborate closely with operational departments to strengthen financial controls, improve business processes, and maintain effective cross-functional relationships.
- Act as the Finance Director in their absence, oversee special finance projects, and ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Finance Department.
Key Requirements:
- Min degree, CPA/ACCA/CIMA qualification.
- Min 10 years of working experience within Finance & Accounting roles in Hospitality industry.
- Strong interpersonal & stakeholder management skills with good business acumen & strategic thinking.
- Highly-motivated, results-oriented, and forward-thinking leader/team player with good work ethic, credibility, and sense of integrity
