Purpose of the position We are looking for an experiencedAssistant Export Manager to lead our growth in the pet category across Asian countries. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in key account management and distributor management and will be value added if with exposure to B2B channels.
Prior experience in FMCG product category will be considered a significant advantage.
You will play an essential role to:Key responsibilities & duties:
- Work together as Principle with Business Partners and Distributors to achieve Company Operation Budget (Top & Bottom Line).
- To ensure all the sales related expenses are within the agreed budget
- To identify new business opportunities and build sustainable business for the company
- To prepare and achieve annual budget for the assigned country / region
- To analyze and prepare competitors activities and market competitive report to formulate adequate action plans
- Submit weekly progress reports and ensure data is accurate.
- Managed and execute compliance of Department SOP & ISO compliance.
- To perform ad hoc tasks assigned by Line Manager from time to time.
Academic or trade qualificationsCandidate must possess at least Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Work experience and skills- Minimum 3-5 years of working experience in the FMCG, Consumer products, Food Export and/or Distributor Management is preferred
- Track record of successfully applying consultative selling strategic business skills to achieve or exceed
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English, both oral and written. Multilingual skills with Mandarin or other dialects will be a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to identify growth opportunities.
- Demonstrated expertise in key account management with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
- The ability to interact and collaborate cohesively across cultures and interdepartmental.
- Self starter and able to work independently. Do not mind to work extra mileage and highly commitment and responsibility to work.
- Required skill (s) - Good networking capabilities, strong interpersonal communication skills and excellent negotiation skills.
- Proficient in MS Office operations.
