The Assistance facilities manager, Support the Senior Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and compliance of building facilities to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. The role oversees daily facilities operations, coordinates maintenance activities, manages service providers, and ensures statutory compliance while delivering high-quality facility services to internal stakeholders.
Facilities Operations
- Assist in managing the day-to-day operation of building facilities and infrastructure.
- ensure all hard and soft FM services are delivered according to agreed service levels.
- Monitor building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, lifts, generators, and UPS.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure facilities are maintained in good working condition.
- Respond promptly to operational issues and emergency situations.
- Plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Monitor maintenance schedules and ensure timely completion.
- Supervise outsourced contractors and service providers.
- Coordinate minor renovation and improvement projects.
- Monitor contractor performance against KPIs and SLAs.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and local authority requirements.
Coordinate statutory inspections and renewals.
- Ensure facilities comply with Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) requirements.
- Assist in preparing annual OPEX and CAPEX budgets.
- Monitor expenditure against approved budgets
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, statutory certificates, and asset information.
- Prepare monthly operational and KPI reports.
Job Holder Requirements
Education:
- bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or a related field.
- Professional certification (IFMA CFM/FMP, BEM, CIDB, or equivalent) is an advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in facilities management, industrial, logistics, commercial, or manufacturing environments.
- Experience managing multiple contractors and building services.
- Knowledge of statutory compliance and authority requirements.
- Fire Safety Officer Certified is an advantage
- Knowledge of warehouse operations is an advantage.
