Role Description
- Preparation of supportive portfolio, fabric and accessories boards for seasonal presentation to Management and Sales team.
- Design development and fabric selection, design review and adoption, technical design and sample requisition, sampling production follow-up, sample inspection and price negotiation.
- Dealing with Suppliers on all aspects of production matters.
- Analysis of fashion and trend websites, subscriptions and publications, market research (overseas and local) and compilations of reports.
- Discuss design idea with Sales and Management team and get information about new styles and consumer preferences.
Job Requirement:
- Possess at least a Diploma/Degree in Fashion Design or equivalent.
- Good fashion sense and knowledge in fashion design.
- To be creative, resourceful and willing to take challenges.
- Proficient in Adobe, Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Willing to travel outstation/overseas with short notice.
- Ability to speak and write inMandarinis taking an advantage as you would need to liaise with clients from China
- A team player and able to work independently.
