Bertam Resort is looking for an experienced and motivated Assistant Finance Manager to join our Finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Finance Manager in overseeing the daily Finance & Accounting operations.
• Prepare and review monthly financial reports, P&L, balance sheet reconciliations, and management reports.
• Monitor revenue, expenses, cash flow, and departmental financial performance.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing.
• Review Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and other accounting functions.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, statutory requirements, and audit requirements.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Work closely with operational departments on cost control and financial matters.
• Support and guide Finance team members in their daily responsibilities.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant Finance/Accounting experience.
• Previous experience in the hotel or hospitality industry is preferred.
• Experience in a supervisory or Assistant Manager capacity will be an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and accounting principles.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting/financial systems.
• Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and work effectively with different departments.

Hospitality experience is highly preferred.
