Job Description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support overall monthly, quarterly and yearly closing processes in accordance with MFRS.
Support preparation and submission of consolidated financial reporting packages under IFRS.
Support preparation and filling of corporate tax, ST and handling of tax audits in Malaysia.
Assist in statutory audit processes.
Lead company in budgeting, performance tracking and variance analysis.
Support setting and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs).
Support cash flow forecasting and working capital optimization.
Support communication and relationship management with Malaysian financial institution.
Support credit evaluation and accounts receivable management for overseas customers.
Maintain and strengthen compliance with Malaysian company law and related regulations.
Review and improve business processes for efficiency and effectiveness.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's Degree or higher in Accounting, Finance or related field.
Minimum 5 years of accounting or finance experience in handling full set of accounts and preferably with managing skills
Experience in leading or being the main person responsible for closing financial statements in accordance with MFRS
Knowledge and practical experience in cost accounting (experience in retail/ wholesale/ logistics is an advantage).
