What Your Day Looks Like:
- You'll be actively involved in day-to-day financial operations, including supervising accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely issuance of customer invoices and accurate recording of supplier invoices.
- You'll be responsible for reviewing and recording accruals and prepayments to ensure financial statements reflect accurate period-end balances.
- You'll be responsible to monitor aging reports, conduct proactive follow-ups and effective credit control practices to ensure timely collection of receivables.
- You'll perform monthly closing of books, weekly payment processing, staff claim verification, and maintaining proper document filing.
- You'll work closely with the operations team to fulfil any finance related matters or arrangements.
- You'll support the Finance team on all other assigned tasks.
- You'll supervise and guide junior finance staffs in day-to-day operations.
What You'll Bring:
- Required: At minimum, a degree accreditation in Finance, Accounting, or any relevant field.
- Required: Minimum 3 years of working experience in finance, accounting, or audit role in professional firm or commercial.
- Preferred: Currently pursuing Professional Qualification (ACCA/CIMA/CPA/MIA/ICAEW) or have completed relevant Professional Qualification.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Ability to work under high pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Responsible, organised and meticulous in all tasks.
