Our client is a global food manufacturing MNC in the agrifood industry. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Finance Assistant Managerto join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the Central West area.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage daily finance operations, including payables, receivables, billing functions, reconciliations, and financial closing activities.
- Monitor financial transactions, cash flow activities, and payment processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and proper governance controls.
- Ensure timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, including preparation of supporting schedules and reports.
- Prepare financial analysis, business performance reports, budgeting support, and forecasting activities to support operational planning.
- Support audit, taxation, GST, statutory reporting, and compliance matters in accordance with regulatory and corporate requirements.
- Review and enhance finance workflows, reporting structures, and internal processes to improve operational effectiveness and reporting efficiency.
- Support ERP and reporting system enhancements, including data maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and regional counterparts to support finance operations and reporting requirements.
- Provide guidance and coordination to finance team members to ensure smooth execution of daily activities and reporting deadlines.
- Participate in finance-related projects, process optimisation initiatives, and ad-hoc assignments as required.
Requirements:
- Min Diploma in Accountancy, Finance studies or equivalent.
- Min 5-6 years of relevant experience in finance operations and process improvement.
- Strong knowledge of full set accounting, financial reporting, and analysis.
- Familiarity with enterprise financial consolidation tools (Hyperion/Infor M3 or similar tools) used for group-level reporting and analysis.
- Experience in process improvement, workflow enhancement, or system improvement initiatives will be advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems experience with reporting tools is advantageous.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
