Your Tasks
- Oversee and review full set of accounts (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets) and lead monthly and annual closing processes
- Ensure accuracy of journal entries, accruals, provisions, reconciliations, and timely financial reporting
- Maintain data integrity in SAP and drive system improvements and automation initiatives
- Ensure compliance with Malaysian statutory and tax requirements (including SST, Imported Service Tax, Withholding Tax, and e-Invoicing)
- Coordinate and support statutory audits, tax matters, and liaise with external auditors and authorities
- Strengthen internal controls and continuously improve finance processes and procedures
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., tax agents, company secretary, IT)
- Supervise and support finance team members, providing technical guidance and development
- Perform additional finance-related duties as assigned by management
Your Profile
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 610 years of relevant professional experience in accounting or finance
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP (S/4HANA preferred)
- Solid knowledge of Malaysian statutory and tax regulations (including SST, Imported Service Tax, Withholding Tax, and LHDN e-Invoicing)
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is an advantage
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Structured, independent, and detail-oriented working style
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
