Role Description

Supports the Director of Finance in overseeing hotel financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, strong internal controls, and compliance with statutory, corporate and brand standards. Provides financial insight to support management decision-making and leads the Finance team.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily Finance operations and month-end/year-end closing.
  • Ensure accuracy of financial records, balance sheet reconcialitions, and bank reconcialiations.
  • Prepare financial reports for management and owners.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, tax requirements, Hotel's SPI, ICP and SOX.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
  • Supervise and develop Finance team members.
  • Liaise with auditors, banks and government authorities.
  • Act as Financial Controller when required.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance or related fields.
  • Professional qualification (ACCA/CPA or equivalent) would be an advantage
  • Minimum 6-8 years supervisory role.
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience, preferably in hotel / hospitality.
  • Strong knowledge of hotel finance operations and internal controls.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication skills; flexible during peak closing periods.
