  • Lead and participate in risk assessments and studies (HAZID, HAZOP, QRA, LOPA, SIL, PSSR, MOC) for operations, projects, and asset modifications
  • Ensure effective Management of Change (MOC) and that hazards and risks are identified, assessed, and mitigated before implementation
  • Conduct process safety audits, inspections, and assurance activities, and drive closure of findings and continuous improvement actions
  • Analyse process safety events, near misses, and incidents, ensuring learning and preventive measures are embedded across the organisation
  • Act as the focal point for barrier health monitoring, performance trending, and recovery planning
  • Support emergency response preparedness and lead as part of the Emergency Response Team during emergency situations
  • Design and deliver process safety training, coaching, and awareness programmes to strengthen competency and safety culture
  • Develop and execute short- and long-term process safety strategies, aligned with asset, business, and sustainability objectives
  • Plan, manage, and optimise the process safety budget, ensuring cost-effective delivery of risk reduction initiatives
  • Provide operational support to Operations, Maintenance, and Asset Integrity teams, advising on overrides, impairments, and temporary changes
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for process safety during project execution and business development/tendering activities
  • Interface with clients, JV partners, regulators, and classification societies to ensure compliance and alignment with industry best practices
