The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Group's financial reporting functions. You will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of consolidated financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing insightful financial analysis. Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements, quarterly announcement, audit report, annual report and other Group and Company reports within deadline and ensuring accuracy.
- Ensure all the Statutory Deadlines are met to avoid any late payment or submission penalties.
- Assist to prepare and monitor group and project budget including budgetary variances
- Prepare and assist on taxation related matters
- Managing intercompany transactions.
- Supporting subsidiaries month-end closing processes.
- Assist in providing financial analysis for the group and support on meeting presentation in regards to the analysis.
- Assist on monitor and manage working capital, including receivables, payables, and inventory (if any).
- Assist to drive process improvements and implement strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and regulatory authorities
- Perform any other duty & responsibility which the immediate superior or the company may assign from time to time.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or professional accounting qualifications (ie ICAEW/ACCA/MICPA/CPA) from recognized institutions;
- Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting working experience preferably in the property/construction Industry;
- Those with experience in development and construction accounts will be given preference;
- Self-motivated individual with good interpersonal skills including negotiation and delegation;
- Committed to work in teams and sharing their knowledge for the benefit of the team and service;
- Strong analytical, interpersonal and people management skills;
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards - MFRS;
- Experience in handling full set accounts
