Responsibilities:
1. Sales Support & Quotation Management
- Oversee all regional Inside Sales functions, including quotation preparation, costing, submissions, material master creation, order processing, and customer/vendor onboarding.
- Define and implement standardised operating procedures across markets to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
- Follow up on and resolve quotation-related issues, disputes, and queries.
- Drive process simplification, automation, and data integrity through best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Utilise CRM platforms (e.g., Oracle NetSuite) to optimise sales workflows, reporting accuracy, and transaction visibility.
- Review and validate all NetSuite entries prior to approval, ensuring timely turnaround.
2. Order Processing & Coordination
- Review customer purchase orders and verify alignment with approved quotations and agreed terms.
- Submit confirmed orders to the Operations team for processing and delivery planning.
- Coordinate with internal departments (Operations, Procurement, Logistics, Finance) to ensure seamless order execution.
3. Regional Governance & Performance Management
- Monitor and analyse team performance metrics (e.g., turnaround times, quotation accuracy, order fulfilment rates) to maintain operational excellence.
- Establish and track KPIs aligned with sales productivity, customer responsiveness, and SLA adherence across multiple geographies.
- Ensure full compliance with corporate governance, approval hierarchies, and audit requirements across all regional entities.
- Act as an escalation point for operational issues or process bottlenecks, ensuring timely resolution.
4. Strategic Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with Regional Sales, Finance, Operations, and Procurement teams to ensure seamless coordination from quotation through to delivery.
- Support business leaders with pricing and cost validation, commercial structuring, and strategic planning.
- Serve as a key communication link between field sales, management, and back-office operations to ensure alignment and accountability.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years managerial experience in inside sales or sales support, ideally within a System Integrator or Enterprise Technology environment.
- Demonstrated experience managing regional teams or multi-country sales support operations.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with a solid understanding of end-to-end system integration sales cycles, including solution design coordination, order fulfilment, and preferably tender responses.
- Highly detail-oriented, with strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination abilities.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with global sales operations processes and documentation requirements.
- Sound knowledge of costing and pricing models.
