Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Learning& Development, internship or campus engagement, HR basic functions.
- Experience in project management, process improvement, or digitalization's initiatives will be an added advantage.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Good understanding of HR processes, recruitment, onboarding, payroll basics and internship management.
- Familiarity with campus engagement, WBL/TVET collaboration and talent pipeline building.
- Basic knowledge of L&D programme design and learning management systems
- Ability to plan and manage multiple projects with attention to detail.
- Comfortable with digital tools and systems for process automation and knowledge management.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills to engage diverse audiences.
- Strong organizational, coordination, and time management skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & etc)
- Experience in handling training documentation and reporting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Training Delivery & Learning Development
- Promote and communicate all learning and development programmes to associates.
- Facilitate learning initiatives including onboarding, culture training, management development, service excellence, and other training programmes.
- Coach associates on service behaviours and identify opportunities to improve guest experience.
- Observe training application on the job and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance training materials, e-learning content, and micro-learning modules.
- Ensure associates receive ongoing learning opportunities to meet and exceed guest expectations.
Training Administration & Reporting
- Maintain accurate training records and ensure departments update monthly training reports.
- Consolidate and submit monthly training hours reports by department and associate.
- Monitor enrolment, attendance, and completion of internal and external training programmes.
- Review departmental training plans and conduct random audits to verify training completion.
- Coordinate training logistics, attendance records, evaluations, venues, equipment, and refreshments.
- Support Learning Needs Analysis (LNA) and monitor HRD Corp levy utilization.
Training Effectiveness & Performance Improvement
- Evaluate training effectiveness through observations, feedback, and performance reviews.
- Identify learning gaps and recommend development initiatives to improve operational performance.
- Partner with operational leaders to assess technical, service, and leadership competencies.
- Ensure adult learning principles are incorporated into training design and delivery.
- Analyse guest feedback and service trends to identify improvement opportunities.
Orientation & Onboarding
- Coordinate and deliver New Hire Orientation, Company Introduction sessions, and hotel tours.
- Support onboarding and familiarization programmes for new associates.
- Ensure new associates are effectively integrated into the hotel's culture, policies, and service standards.
Audit & Compliance
- Support hotel, corporate, and regulatory audit requirements related to training and compliance.
- Conduct random compliance audits and follow up on corrective actions.
- Monitor departmental compliance and training-related audit requirements.
Internship, TVET & Campus Engagement
- Manage internship, Work-Based Learning (WBL), and TVET programmes from recruitment to completion.
- Coordinate trainee orientation, accommodation, training schedules, and progress tracking.
- Maintain trainee databases, feedback records, and conversion-to-employment reports.
- Organise hotel tours, career talks, career fairs, and campus engagement activities.
- Develop and strengthen partnerships with schools, colleges, universities, and TVET institutions.
- Manage the Sunway TVET Accelerator Programme and maintain an updated education partner database.
Administrative & HR Support
- Prepare monthly headcount, allowance, and training-related reports.
- Coordinate monthly learning review meetings and distribute meeting minutes.
- Assist with foreign worker documentation, ESD submissions, and liaison with HQ and appointed agents.
- Support talent development projects and other L&D initiatives as assigned.
Associate Communication & Engagement
- Maintain and update Learning & Development notice boards and communication channels.
- Organise learning campaigns, product knowledge activities, quizzes, and engagement programmes.
- Prepare and publish monthly associate newsletters.
- Communicate training schedules, company updates, recognition programmes, and learning opportunities to associates.
