Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) / Accounts Payable operations across APAC regions.
- Supervise and mentor a team of 12–14 AP analysts across India and Kuala Lumpur.
- Oversee invoice processing (PO & Non-PO), vendor payments, employee claims, reconciliations, and query management.
- Ensure timely month-end and year-end P2P close activities with compliance to audit and SOX controls.
- Monitor SLAs/KPIs, drive productivity improvements, and manage escalations.
- Handle GR/IR reconciliations, clearing activities, and issue resolution with procurement and finance teams.
- Use SAP / S/4HANA for AP operations, reporting, MIS preparation, and process analysis.
- Drive process improvement, automation, standardization, and transformation initiatives.
- Collaborate with clients, vendors, procurement, treasury, and internal stakeholders for seamless operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field.
- Minimum 7–9 years of experience in Accounts Payable / Procure-to-Pay operations.
- Minimum 3 years in a Team Lead / Assistant Manager / Supervisory role.
- Strong expertise in the following
- Invoice processing (PO & Non-PO)
- Payments & reconciliations
- GR/IR accounting
- Month-end P2P close
- Hands-on experience with SAP / S/4HANA (mandatory/preferred).
- Experience with Concur and advanced MS Excel/MS Office.
- Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Client-facing or outsourced service delivery experience preferred.
- Mandarin language proficiency is an added advantage to interact with similar counterpart
