Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Manager / Manager, Accounts & Finance based in Shah Alam. The role is responsible for managing the full set of accounts, financial reporting, e-Invoicing compliance, SST submissions, audit coordination, and overall accounting operations while ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. 

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain a full set of accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain accurate financial records, reports, and supporting documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with Malaysia's e-Invoicing requirements, including timely issuance and record maintenance.
  • Prepare and submit SST returns in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Administer agent-related accounting matters, including CP58 preparation, withholding tax compliance, and commission-related transactions.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Monitor accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and statutory requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or professional qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 - 5 years of relevant working experience in handling a full set of accounts.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and statutory compliance.
  • Proficient in accounting software such as SQL Accounting, AutoCount, or equivalent accounting systems.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
  • Willing to be based in Shah Alam.
  • Experience in the property, real estate agency, or commission-based industry is advantageous.
