Job Purpose
Responsible in pursuing sales revenue/prospects/clients in Out-Of-Home (OOH) advertising media. The sales employee is fully responsible in achieving Individual and Group Advertising media yearly Revenue / Sales target and ensuring all OOH advertising campaigns are successfully carried out.
Key Accountabilities
- Establish, build and maintain close relationships with new and existing clients.
- Prepare content presentation materials based on client's advertising / event brief: budget, objectives, target audience/profile, product, quantity, duration period and etc on our available inventory.
- To work closely with internal or external business units/departments/divisions or within Prasarana Group of Companies to facilitate client's needs, expectations, and requirements in ensuring the success of the advertising campaign.
- The advertising campaign workflow involves client outreach, proposal submission, registration, planning routes and timelines, preparing contracts and budgets, managing approvals, overseeing printing and installation, ensuring proper invoicing and payments, and finally delivering completion certificates, ensuring all tasks are executed efficiently from initiation to final delivery.
- Should there be any other unforeseeable advertising related issues, the sales employee must investigate, develop solutions/recommendations, and resolve the matter (with the knowledge of the immediate superior).
- Assist immediate superior with all advertising sales matters/documentation.
- Attend educational training organized by PRIDE/Prasarana Malaysia Berhad and attend advertising media related business/events/meetings.
- To provide sales and/or other activity reports to immediate superior.
- Always uphold company's Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) / Discretionary Authority Limit (DAL) while performing work duties.
Qualifications, Skills & Knowledge
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Advertising / Business Administration / Marketing / Business Management or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years relevant working experience in sales position in the Out-of- Home (OOH) advertising media or related advertising media sales position.
- Ability to secure advertising business with proper advertising.
