Summary
You will be responsible for assisting in the efficient operation of the department in line with Hyatt International's corporate strategies and brand standards, while meeting the expectations of associates, guests, and owners.
The Assistant Manager - Bar supports the Bar Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the bar, ensuring exceptional service standards and a memorable guest experience. This role assists in leading and developing the bar team, maintaining operational efficiency, managing inventory and cost controls, and supporting the achievement of departmental financial objectives.
The Assistant Manager - Bar is also responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards, while fostering a positive and productive work environment that promotes teamwork, guest satisfaction, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Due to work permit restrictions, this position is only open for Malaysian Citizens and Permanent Residents of Malaysia.
- Ideally with a university degree/diploma in Hospitality/Tourism management.
- Work experience as an Assistant Manager - Bar or Team Leader within hotels or luxury restaurants is preferred.
- Strong understanding of bar operations, including beverage preparation, inventory management, and customer service.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, strong organisational and time management abilities.
