Position Overview
The Business System and Process Analyst (BSPA) serve as the bridge between business operations and technology solutions, supporting both Warehouse Management System (WMS) initiatives and broader internal system improvement projects.
This role works closely with the System Solutions Manager and cross-functional stakeholders to analyse business requirements, optimize operational workflows, and implement scalable system solutions that improve efficiency, data visibility, and organizational processes.
In addition to WMS implementation and support, the BSPA will also participate in internal system setup, process digitalization, database management, reporting enhancement, and continuous operational improvement initiatives across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Requirements & Process Analysis
- Gather, analyse, and document business requirements from operational and functional stakeholders.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications and system requirements.
- Conduct gap analysis between current workflows and proposed system solutions.
- Review and improve internal operational processes to enhance productivity and accuracy.
- Document workflows, SOPs, data flows, and integration requirements across systems.
- System Implementation & Enhancement
- Support implementation, customization, and enhancement of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other internal business systems.
- Collaborate with the System Solutions Manager and development team to design practical and scalable solutions.
- Participate in system configuration, user setup, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
- Assist in establishing internal systems and tools to support operational efficiency and business growth.
- Ensure systems align with operational objectives, compliance requirements, and business scalability
- Database, Reporting & Data Management
- Support database administration, data maintenance, and backup management.
- Perform data mapping, validation, and system integration activities.
- Develop and maintain operational reports, dashboards, and data visualization tools.
- Analyse operational data to identify trends, issues, and improvement opportunities.
4. Testing, Support & Issue Management
- Coordinate system testing activities including UAT and functional validation with end users.
- Track, monitor, and follow up on system issues, enhancement requests, and project progress.
- Ensure timely resolution of system-related issues and maintain proper documentation throughout the development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience as a Business/System Analyst or similar role.
- Experience in WMS, ERP, logistics, supply chain, or operational systems is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with SQL, database concepts, data mapping, and system integration.
- Experience in system implementation projects from requirement gathering through deployment.
- Exposure to internal process improvement, workflow automation, or operational system setup is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of reporting tools, dashboards, or data visualization platforms is preferred
