Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end category initiatives, from strategy development and analysis to execution and performance monitoring.
  • Develop and implement category strategies to optimise inventory performance, pricing competitiveness, and business growth.
  • Analyse key business metrics including sales performance, inventory movement, profitability, and market trends to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Conduct deep-dive analysis on pricing, customer behaviour, campaign effectiveness, and market dynamics to generate actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Marketing, Operations, Product, and Commercial teams to drive successful execution of initiatives.
  • Build and enhance reporting dashboards, analytical tools, and performance tracking frameworks to support data-driven decision making.
  • Identify market opportunities by analysing customer trends, search behaviour, and business performance data.
  • Recommend process improvements and operational enhancements to improve efficiency and scalability.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in commercial strategy, category management, business analytics, management consulting, or related fields.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or other relevant disciplines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with strong commercial acumen.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or other analytical tools will be advantageous.
  • Ability to manage projects independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence business decisions through data and insights.
  • Self-driven, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
