Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the execution of public relations strategies to support the Setia brand.
  • Help manage media relations by contributing to press releases, story pitches, and fielding media enquiries to secure positive coverage.
  • Participate in coordinating and implementing PR campaigns that reinforce brand messaging and integrate with marketing efforts.
  • Monitor media coverage, assist in analysing PR outcomes, and contribute to reports that inform strategic adjustments.
  • Provide support during crisis communication efforts.
  • Help maintain and grow relationships with media representatives, influencers, and property development industry stakeholders.
  • Stay informed about competitor publicity and assist in preparing competitive analysis reports.
  • Assist in managing PR collaborations that will help elevate the publicity of the brand.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in public relations, media relations, or a related communications role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to craft clear and engaging messages for diverse audiences.
  • Adaptable and flexible, capable of assisting effectively in crisis situations.
  • Solid interpersonal abilities to cultivate relationships with media and stakeholders.
  • Basic proficiency in PR software and tools and digital media platforms.
  • Familiar with news monitoring software and reporting.
  • Passionate in storytelling and strives for excellence in all communication tasks.
