Job Responsibilities
- Lead origination, evaluation and execution of M&A, joint ventures, strategic partnerships and other corporate exercises to drive inorganic growth
- Identify and assess acquisition and divestment opportunities, supported by market research, competitor benchmarking and investment analysis
- Drive new business opportunities and source of new revenue, including expansion into new geographies, segments and revenue streams
- Build and review financial models, valuations and investment analyses; establish best practices and guide junior team members
- Partner with business divisions to evaluate and execute investments, including due diligence, structuring and commercial negotiations
- Lead capital allocation planning and funding strategies, including equity and fund-raising exercises to optimise capital structure and returns
- Ensure compliance with Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements (MMLR), including structuring and execution of transactions within regulatory frameworks
- Oversee preparation of investment committee papers, board materials, due diligence reports and investor presentations
- Monitor performance, key value drivers and strategic initiatives to ensure alignment with financial targets and long-term objectives

- Leads corporate development / corporate finance activities
- Supports business units and/or other support departments in strategic decision making, planning and problem solving
- Jointly accountable with business units to deliver company's performance targets
Education/ Professional Qualification
- Degree in Finance/ Accounting/ Real Estate/ Engineering/ Marketing/ BBA (International Business) or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the field of strategic planning, corporate finance / investments
- Experience in the real estate or professional certification in the fields above is a plus
Professional Experience
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in real estate, strategy / management consulting and/or corporate finance / investment management
