The Role
As our Assistant Manager, Corporate Secretarial, you will be a key player in our team, responsible for ensuring all corporate secretarial work is executed with precision and in full compliance with the Companies Act 2016 and Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Corporate Governance & Compliance: Managing all corporate secretarial matters, including the timely and accurate submission of statutory returns to SSM, Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad, and other relevant authorities.
- Documentation & Meetings: Drafting Bursa Securities resolutions and announcements, preparing minutes for Board and shareholder meetings, and organizing key corporate meetings.
- Annual Reporting: Taking charge of the preparation of the Annual Report, coordinating with various departments and external vendors to ensure timely circulation.
- Strategic Support: Providing essential documentation support for the company's corporate exercises from time to time, gaining valuable experience in significant business activities.
- Operational Excellence: Utilising your expertise in platforms like MBRS and MyCoID to streamline corporate secretarial processes.
What We're Looking For
We are seeking a dedicated professional with a strong foundation in corporate secretarial practice.
- Qualification: ICSA/MAICSA Associate or LLB graduate with a valid SSM Practicing Certificate to act as a Company Secretary.
- Experience: Minimum of 6 years of experience in a similar capacity, preferably within a corporate secretarial/legal firm or a public listed company environment.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Companies Act 2016 and Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements.
- Skills: Proficient in written English with excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
- Attitude: Proactive, self-motivated, and a collaborative team player with a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
