Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Maintain proper financial controls which shall include reconciliations with proper audit trail and standard operating procedures.
  2. Timely compilation of explanation by project on monthly group consolidation of accounts and management reports on revenue up to gross profit.
  3. Perform analytical review of consolidated financial statement which shall includes profit and loss, balance sheet and other financial analysis reports up to gross margin level on actual vs budget.
  4. Responsible to oversee monthly Indonesia results, budgeting and cash flow forecasting, monitoring and managing the cash position of PTBM/PTBMI Indonesia.
  5. Liaise and coordinate with subsidiary Finance Manager on the preparation of monthly financial statements and analysis reports up to gross profit level.
  6. Responsible to ensure strict compliance of financial standards and company's accounting policies and procedures.
  7. Preparation of monthly presentation slides to Executive Committee.
  8. Liaise with internal and external auditors, tax agents, bankers and relevant government authorities on other related Accounts matters.
  9. Review of provisional tax computation and assist in tax computation and the tax estimates for submission to Inland Revenue Board and tax planning.
  10. Assist Financial Controller in coordinating the year end audits and draft audited accounts.
  11. Preparation of compilation of Group order and 6 months forecast for the subsidiaries.
  12. Preparation of Standard Operating Procedures and implement changes in workflow for Risk Management purposes and compile Bio Energy risk metrics for COO's review.

EXPERIENCE / SKILLS REQUIRED:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Professional Certification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, MIA etc is an added advantage.
  2. Minimum 3 5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  3. Experience in group consolidation and reporting with strong analytical and accounting technical skills.
  4. Good knowledge in group consolidation, Income Tax Act, Companies Act and Bursa Malaysia listing requirements.
  5. Attention to details with high integrity and must be able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  6. Possess strong problem solving, planning and organising skills.
  7. Self-motivated team player, dynamic with mature personality and able to work under minimum supervision.
  8. Advance level in Microsoft Excel and good knowledge of accounting software.
  9. Excellent command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
