Get to Know the Role

We are looking for an Assistant Finance Manager to lead financial accounting team in reporting, compliance and governance activities while supporting the company's business growth and transformation initiatives. You will oversee accounting operations, internal and external audits, tax compliance and corporate secretarial matters, while ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting to Central Finance. This role also plays a key part in driving the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365, supporting rollout of Anaplan, initiate digitalisation programs, strengthening internal controls, improving finance processes, and supporting strategic projects led by the Management.

Essential Responsibilities

Financial Accounting and Reporting

  • Supervise day to day Finance operation and monthly/quarterly/annual closing activities
  • Carry out financial review, ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Prepare quarterly JSOX reports

Audit, Tax and Corporate Secretarial

  • Liaise with internal and external auditors
  • Work with tax consultants on corporate tax, transfer pricing and global minimum tax
  • Review monthly SST, contract stamp duty and withholding tax submissions
  • Organise annual AGM
  • Handle corporate secretarial matters

ERP project and Process Improvement

  • Drive D365 implementation for Financial modules and render support for Procurement, Inventory Master, SCM etc
  • Work with IT to ensure seamless synchronisation of D365 data to HQ's SAP Hana
  • Support rollout of Anaplan systems for FP&A functions
  • Streamline finance processes including initiate digitalisation for efficiency improvement

Other Responsibilities

  • Handle government surveys and ensure prompt submission
  • e-PR system purchase request approver for Stage 4
  • Setting up financial operating manual (SOP) and review delegation of authority
  • Any other tasks as assigned by the Management and/or Senior Finance Manager

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy / ACCA / CPA
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in a supervisory/managerial roles in manufacturing environment, preferably in semiconductor or advanced manufacturing settings.

Technical Skills:

  • Hands-on experience in ERP systems and implementation projects preferred
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and financial modelling capabilities
  • Proficient in Power BI for dashboard development and data visualisation

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent leadership and team supervision capabilities
  • Strong communication skills, able to engage stakeholders across functions and levels
  • Meticulous, proactive with strong attention to detail
  • Results-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Capable of working under pressure and meeting stringent reporting timelines
  • Able to manage multiple priorities while ensuring accuracy, compliance and timeliness

Travel Requirement

  • Minimal travel (<10%) Occasional visits to Singapore HQ
