Roles and Responsibilities:
As the Assistant Finance Manager, you are responsible for ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, maintaining financial records, and assisting in the preparation of financial statements. The role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, attention to detail, and the ability to work with numbers and financial data.
- Manage full set accounting of an entity comprising GL, AP & AR functions.
- Conduct regular reconciliation of bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and summaries for management, providing insights into the company's financial performance.
- Conduct analysis on financial data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the finance team to contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes, helping to ensure financial goals are met.
- Ensure compliance with audit & tax laws and regulations. Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Possesses strong expertise in balance sheet reconciliation, with a proven record of success and sound action taken.
- Collaborating with overseas stakeholders in remote environments, demonstrating cultural adaptability.
To be a Successful Candidate
- Possess Degree in Accounting/ Finance
- Relevant accounting knowledge in AP/ AR
- Proficiency in Excel and relevant accounting software/ ERP system
- Possess 4 to 7 years relevant accounting & Finance working experiences.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, effective communication and interpersonal abilities, ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
