Job Description

About The Job

1. Strategic Sourcing & Tender Management

  • Lead end-to-end sourcing activities including RFQ, RFP and exceptional processes.
  • Develop sourcing strategies aligned with category objectives and business needs.
  • Prepare tender documents, evaluation criteria, and commercial comparison.
  • Facilitate evaluation sessions (technical & commercial) with stakeholders (e.g TEC / TAC).
  • Drive negotiation with suppliers to achieve cost savings and value optimization.

2. Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a central sourcing partner within the RSC model, coordinating requirements across multiple entities while balancing standardization and local needs.
  • Align business expectations on timelines, sourcing approach, and governance requirements.
  • Provide advisory on sourcing approach, market insights, and procurement policies.
  • Manage conflicts and drive consensus in cross-entity sourcing activities.

3. Supplier Strategy & Risk Management

  • Identify and develop a robust and competitive supplier pool aligned with category strategy.
  • Perform supplier due diligence covering financial, operational, and compliance risks.
  • Drive supplier performance and accountability, including SLAs and KPIs where applicable.

4. Cost Optimization & Value Creation

  • Deliver measurable cost savings and cost avoidance initiatives.
  • Conduct market benchmarking and spend analysis.
  • Drive consolidation, standardization, and demand management initiatives.

5. Governance, Compliance & Process Improvement

  • Ensure sourcing activities comply with procurement policies and audit requirements.
  • Maintain proper documentation for all sourcing events.
  • Support internal & external audits.
  • Drive continuous improvement in sourcing processes, templates, and tools.

6. Reporting & Analytics

  • Track sourcing pipeline, savings, and contract coverage.
  • Prepare reports and dashboards for management review.
  • Provide insights on sourcing performance and supplier trends.

7. Leadership & Capability Development

  • Provide guidance and quality assurance on sourcing activities performed by junior team members.
  • Drive consistency in sourcing practices across the RSC through knowledge sharing and coaching.

8. Others

  • Assist Supervisor as at when required.
  • Conduct UAT Testing as and when required or during system upgrade.
  • Identify inefficiencies in the procurement process and suggest improvements.
  • Identify areas of the procurement process that can be improved, leading process improvements or implementing best practices for greater efficiency.
  • Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
  • Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
  • Highlights any potential concerns / risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.

We are looking for people who

  • Degree in Supply Chain Management /Accounting / Finance / Business Administration.
  • 3 to 5 years relevant experiences, preferable in Supply Chain Management / Services Procurement / IT Procurement
  • Proactive and detail oriented. Able to anticipate needs and follow through.
  • Strong interpersonal skills. Able to collaborate with diverse teams and resolve conflicts.
  • Adaptability. Comfortable working in a dynamic and changing environment.
  • Technical acumen. Understanding of how business systems work and integrate.
  • Results-driven. Focused on achieving project milestones and user satisfaction.
