Responsibilities

We are seeking an Assistant Manager, Human Resources to support People Operations and Talent Management in Malaysia and Singapore

  • Payroll (Checker)
  • Validate monthly payroll inputs including new hires, exits, bonuses, reimbursements
  • Coordinate with payroll vendor to ensure timely and error-free payroll processing
  • Provide a supporting role for the global payroll process
  • People Operations
  • Work internally to manage full employee lifecycle effectively
  • Maintain and update HR tools & systems
  • Talent Management
  • Support initiatives to boost employee engagement, development and retention
  • Support performance review cycles, feedback initiatives, and documentation
  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations
  • Undertake other ad hoc duties and responsibilities as required by the team, in support of broader HR and organizational priorities

Requirements

  • Possess a Diploma or Degree in Human Resources or Business Management
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in People Operations, with a strong focus on payroll.
  • Strong understanding of Employment Law in Malaysia and Singapore
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong numerical aptitude, attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information
  • Exposure to multi-country or global people operations would be advantageous
