Credit origination including writing credit papers, using EOS and other systems for loan origination & driving internal process flow for credit approvals.
Ensuring all transactions comply with applicable regulatory framework, guidelines and the Group's policies and procedures.
Negotiation and finalization of loan documentation.
Liaising with internal stakeholders and external parties such as client, solicitors, accountants, financial advisers, etc.
Monitoring of loan covenants and approval conditions to prevent breaches, including identifying early warning triggers for potential credit deterioration.
Responsible for all relevant housekeeping, administrative, operational and reporting requirements in relation to account portfolio.
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional qualification and at least three (3) years of related experience.
Preference for Credit-related work experience with analytical skills and ability to conduct financial analysis, credit assessment and origination.
Preference for familiarity using Maybank's credit related systems e.g. loan origination system (EOS), financial spreading (MFI) and rating (CRRS).
Effective verbal and written communication skills together with the ability to work independently and solve problems with minimal supervision. Strong interpersonal skills with disposition to handle multiple stakeholders.
Strong drive and ability to leverage on the knowledge and experience from within the Group including practical knowledge of Maybank's credit administration, policy and procedures.
